After a 15-year absence, Taylor Dayne returns to The Billboard 200 and the Adult Contemporary chart with her latest album and single, respectively. She also enters another chart and rises on yet another one, though she hasn't been absent so long from the latter and is making her first appearance on the former.
"Satisfied" (Intention), new at No. 179, marks Dayne's first appearance on The Billboard 200 since "Soul Dancing" peaked at No. 51 in 1993. Dayne made her album chart debut the week of Jan. 30, 1988, with "Tell It to My Heart," which went on to peak at No. 21. Dayne's album chart span is now expanded to 20 years and three weeks.
"Satisfied," Dayne's first charted album not released on Arista, is also a new entry on Top Independent Albums, where it bows at No. 22.
The single "Beautiful" opens at No. 29 on the Adult Contemporary survey. It is Dayne's first AC appearance since "Send Me a Lover" peaked at No. 19 in November 1993. "Beautiful" is moving upward on the Hot Dance Club Play chart, landing at No. 18 this week. Dayne was last on this list less than a year ago, when "I'm Not Featuring You" peaked at No. 2 in October 2007.

Taylor Films "Gone Country" on CMT
It's official that Taylor is competing in Series 3 of the CMT reality series "Gone Country". The series has just wrapped it's 2 week filming and will premiere January 2009.
CMT has announced the cast for the third season of Gone Country, including George Clinton, Sheila E., Taylor Dayne, Micky Dolenz of The Monkees, Richard Grieco and American Idol runner-up Justin Guarini. John Rich will return as the show's host when it premieres in January. (It's currently being filmed in Nashville in November 2008)
Past Gone Country winners include Julio Iglesias Jr. and Sebastian Bach.
A little about the series:
Gone Country uproots these seven musical celebrities and moves them into a Nashville mansion together to embark on a two-week adventure, hosted by singer-songwriter John Rich. Each celebrity will be paired up with some of Nashville's finest songwriters in an attempt to prepare them for a career in country music. In each episode, the cast competes against each other in challenges that will test them musically and physically to adapt to a country music lifestyle, both on and off the stage. At the end of the two weeks, the artist who is most prepared to impress a country audience, as determined by Rich, will record and release a song.

New Album - Remastered Greatest Hits
Taylor is working on a newly remastered Greatest Hits album featuring all her Hits re-recorded and remastered. This album will also feature 2 brand new tracks. Taylor started work on these new tracks November 2009 while on tour in Sweden. She has teamed up with Top Producers Macho Psyhco (Celine Dion/P!NK) as well as other producers/writers Mark Picchiotti & Kinky Roland who have worked with Jennifer Lopez, Ash & The Killers. It been confirmed that Taylor is working on Dance songs. Keep checking Taylor's sites for all the latest info on this release. You can follow Taylor on Twitter also. Album due is expected late 2010.

Brand New Song Samples Online [Feb 2010]
Taylor is now streaming two brand new songs for fans to listen to on her websites. The first song "Born To Sing" was co-written in Nahsville after her time on CMT's Gone Country 3. Taylor says this song is her anthem. Born To Sing is a country ballad, the sample posted is a piano demo. Look out for this at Taylor's live shows.
