Taylor Dayne (real name "Leslee Wunderman") born March 7th, 1962 in Long Island, New York and has proven to be one of pop music's most successful artists.  Her unique vocal stylings have lead to success in many different formats from Pop, Dance, R 'n' B, Rock to Adult Comtemporary.  Her incredible vocal style and abilities have earned her 3 successful albums including 2 double platinum and 1 gold, 2 sold-out world tours and 3 Grammy Nominations.  Taylor has such a special quality and with every note she sings she captures her audience with the amazing vocals and the truth and honesty she projects into her music.

Taylor grew up with a love for music from Broadway to Soul Music to even running around the house singing TV commercials.  When Taylor graduated High School she groomed her vocal skills and soon joined her first band called "Felony" singing rock 'n' roll. Taylor also studied Music Theory and Composition in College and also took private classes in Classical Training.  Taylor also joined her 2nd band called "The Next" but soon discovered a solo career was calling.

In 1985, Taylor met up with producer Ric Wake and under the name "Leslee" she released 2 dance singles...

In 1987 she had a new name "Taylor Dayne" and Taylor got her hands on a throw away track from a record company and this lead to a major recording deal with "Arista" and in 1988 Taylor released her debut album which was made in a mere 6 weeks as the lead single "Tell It To My Heart" stormed up the charts all over the world.  The album of the same title includes 4 USA Top 10 singles...

This album was a huge hit and Taylor sold over 2 million copies alone in the USA and now the world was experiencing the magic of  Taylor Dayne".  A successful world tour followed.

Taylor then got to work on her follow-up album, determined to prove she was here to stay in 1989 Taylor released her 2nd album titled "Can't Fight Fate" and this album showed many sides of  Taylor's musical style with dance, rock and ballads this album also had 4 USA Top 10 singles and includes her first USA #1 smash hit "Love Will Lead You Back"...

"Can't Fight Fate" was even more successful and also sold over 2 million copies alone in the USA and with a soldout world tour Taylor toured countries she had never before including Australia, Germany, The Far East, London, Sweden and many more.


After such success Taylor took a creative hiatus to prepare for her third album and in 1993 Taylor was back with her 3rd album titled "Soul Dancing" and again she stormed up the charts all over the world with her cover of the Barry White classic "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love" and this lead single went USA Top 20, UK Top 15 and in Australia she charted at #2 and stayed in the charts for over 29 weeks, this album includes the hits...

"Soul Dancing" went gold in the USA and sold over 1/2 million copies and also went gold in Australia and peaked at #3 on the album charts.  "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love" was the 19th highest selling song in Australia in 1993.

In 2001, Taylor makes her Broadway debut in "AIDA" playing "Princess Amneris" and gets rave reviews for her performances and she plays this role for 6 months. Taylor was brillant playing this role and many fans travelled far and wide to see Taylor Dayne in "AIDA"

In 2003 Taylor signed a new recording deal with BMG Germany. But then two months before her album was to be released BMG merged with SONY music worldwide. When the two companies joined forces alot of artists lost their recording deals inlcuding Taylor Dayne. So, Taylor went back to LA and is working hard on getting another recording deal.

In 2005 VH1 starred on the reality TV show  titled "Remaking" where they revamp artists through image, exercise & music. Taylor recorded a new song "Right Now" which is still unreleased commercially...

For the first time ever Taylor has just released a Live DVD which she filmed on her Canadian Tour in May 2006. This DVD is only sold on Taylor's website...

In 2007 Taylor set up her own record label titled "Intention" and began recording new music for her 5th studio album. Taylor also recorded vocals for DJ Manny Lehman's dance single "I'm Not Featuring You" and it bulleted up the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Charts and peaked at #2 in October 2007. This song was also a Best Seller on PerfectBeat.com the premier dance site. This single was released on CD exclusively to PerfectBeat.com and debuted at #1 on their Singles Charts and sold well for months.

* I'm Not Featuring You

Taylor Dayne released the 1st single titled "Beautiful"  from her forthcoming album "Satisfied", 11th December 2007 digitally. "Beautiful" was co-written by Taylor Dayne and introduced a fresh new sound for Taylor with it's soulful sound and uplifting lyrics. In April 2008 the single jumped to #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Charts, and made the TOP 30 AC Radio Chart. "Beautiful" also recieved a rave review from Billboard.com. Taylor also released a digital Remix Album featuring 15 classic remixes of Beautiful in February.

After 10 years Taylor finally released her 5th studio album and her most anticipated album by fans titled "Satisfied". Taylor poured her heart and soul into this album and created an album she was proud of. The album which Taylor describes as R&B has influences from many musical genres such as Soul, R&B, Dance, Pop & even reggae. Featuring 13 tracks with 4 songs co-written by Taylor, 5 original songs & 4 covers including "Fool To Cry" by the Rolling Stones, "Satisfied" by Lewis Taylor, "Kissing You" by Des'ree and her brillant cover of "Under The Bridge" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. "Satisfied" recieved a rave review from Billboard.com and debuted on Billboard's TOP 200 Charts at #179 & #22 on the Billboard Indie Charts.

Taylor also released exclusively to her website some new Merch featuring "My Heart Can't Change Remix EP", "Beautiful the Video's"  featuring Beautiful Music Video, Beautiful Remix Video and a bonus video of the 1998 single "Unstoppable" .

Taylor started woking on recording all her Hits for a remastered Greatest Hits album. Tell It To My Heart 2008 was released as the B-Side to the Beautiful single. Taylor is currently working with producers on two brand new tracks for this collection Macho Psycho (Celine Dion/P!NK) & dance writers/producers Mark Picchiotti & Kinky Roland who have worked with Jennifer Lopez, Ash & The Killers. This album is expected late 2010.
